“Darla was our DJ for our Wedding Ceremony and Reception and I cannot say enough incredible things about her!!!! She put on the most amazing reception and had everyone dancing-young to old! You can definitely tell that she knows how to read the crowd and keep the party going. We didn't have too much to give her for direction but did have some specifics in terms of song choice, and she made everything more perfect that we could have planned! She even coordinated with my Maid of Honor for music for her surprise rap!!! When I watched our ceremony video, I could tell that the music was perfect! She did an amazing job of following our minimal direction and creating a romantic and fun seating playlist, plus executed our ceremony playlist PERFECTLY! She was also super flexible when we decided to add an hour at the last minute, which was awesome and it felt like she even kept playing for some extra time. Everyone had such an amazing night and kept commenting on how great the music and party was. I would 100% recommend Darla for any kind of reception or party!!!”

DJ Darla was recommended to me by a friend who went to a wedding she deejayed, and I’m oh so happy she was and so are my wedding guests. I was never the girl who dreamed of planning her wedding who had all the songs picked out right from the get go. The prospect of finding a good DJ was daunting, especially since I’d been to events with bad DJs and saw how much of a downer a bad DJ can be. DJ Darla Bea was the first and only DJ I met with in the planning process because right from the start I was wooed not just by her accolades and experience but by how personable and helpful she is. Busy and in demand though she may be, Darla always made me feel like a priority. She was always prompt with communication and helpful in a multitude of ways. Darla was immensely helpful with song selections, knowing just the right kinds of songs and armed with recommendations for everything from the bouquet toss to our grand entrance; she sent us set lists to help us design our own. More than that, though, she helped us draft a timeline of our wedding and kept things running smoothly all throughout the day. She accommodated us having our ceremony and reception in two different locations at the venue, and her voice throughout the entire event was pleasant and never obtrusive. When our guests were slow to dance, she managed to pull them together and get them grooving. Our music was one of the things our guests complimented us on most, and it wouldn’t have been possible with out DJ Darla Bea. Darla is so great, my husband and I miss having an excuse to communicate with her, and we hope to go to one of the venues she regularly deejays at. Hands down, working with DJ Darla Bea was my favorite part of the wedding planning process and her awesomeness showed on our big day.”
